A lot of things have been on my mind lately and I just want to break free from them, write about them and Of course encourage everyone, even myself!

I’ve been thinking about support, transition, true friends, health, being transparent, education, family, true love/connection, writing, growth in every aspect (in my case, growth in and with the Lord), hidden feelings & held feelings, forgiveness, hurt, letting go of things, moving forward, goals, visions, and just SO MUCH MORE.

But as you can see, A LOT has been on my mind and it’s time to let it out! This is why I absolutely love writing. It’s an outlet, it’s pure, it’s true and it’s real. A great way for anyone to express themselves and I just thank God for pushing me into this place of finally blogging and for also allowing ME to finally show and give the world a piece of Me. But my first topic is going to be

SUPPORT

I truly feel like it’s in all of us to desire support. Let me know if I’m wrong please! But yes that’s just how I feel. How great of a feeling is it for you when you see your family, close friends or just even people who may not know you but are inspired by what you may be doing support you? A great feeling isn’t it? I can definitely say it’s an amazing and awesome feeling. It warms my heart when people are just being supportive of one another and just encouraging each other to go further in life. I am all for positivity and empowerment. So, I Just want to say THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SUPPORT NOT ONLY ME, BUT TO ALL WHO HAVE A GENUINE, TRUE HEART TO JUST BE SUPPORTIVE. You are needed in this world.

But what I can’t and won’t ever understand is why people try to bring the next down. Like why? Why why why why? Why must we try to tear each other down? Why can’t we all just be supportive of each other? Why is it so hard?

I know I’m not the only one who asks those questions to themselves.

But I came to the conclusion that some people aren’t going to support you simply because of who you are, where you’re going in life, jealousy, envy, and because of their selfish desires.

“They just don’t want to see you doing better than them.”

Which is VERY sad but hey, this is just the world we live in. We don’t have to conform to this world nor do we have to think like some of the people in this world, which is the BEAUTY of it all. (Romans 12:2)

When I started blogging, I just KNEW I was going to receive support from ALL of my family and ALL of my friends.

Let’s laugh please.. ahahahahahahahahahahaha! Lmbo! Ohhhh man!

But….. That did not happen! It was definitely an eye opener for me though.

Does it hurt to know that people I call friends, or even family aren’t supporting me? OF COURSE IT DOES.

But is it stopping me? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

and if you are experiencing this as well? Please please please shift your thoughts and mind from the hurt and just focus on moving forward. Focus on your ART, on your vision, focus on the ones who are actually supporting you, and just KEEP STAYING TRUE TO YOU. Don’t ever stop doing what you love because the ones closest to you can’t get on board and be just as happy for you.

GROWTH

Where are you yearning for growth at in your life? Is it spiritual? Mental? Physical? Emotional? Financial? Relationship growth?

“When you stop growing you start dying.”-William S. Burroughs

That quote is very powerful to me because it just speaks for its self. When you stop taking steps to being a better you, where do you end up? NOT where you want to be right? When you stop practicing, you begin to start getting a little rusty in whatever you were doing right? Or when you stop praying and worshiping, how do you feel your spiritual relationship with our Heavenly Father is? It’s not where you want it to be right? Growth is very important! VERY important! And all I want to do honestly is be more like Jesus Christ! I want to live a life that’s pleasing unto him and I am always striving for that. Always. I’ve told you all before, and I am going to say it again, and FOREVER say it, I LOVE THE LORD and he’s just so good. We are so undeserving but he still looks out for us! Takes great care of us. Jesus died on the cross, so we could live this life in freedom. Not so we could be bonded up in our selfish ways, insecurities, weaknesses, flaws, etc. and because of that I just want to give my all to the Lord. That’s just what my heart desires.

“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ESV)

Yearning for growth in my walk with the Lord. (that’s a story on it own). That’s just been on my heart and mind lately.

Somethings I Do to get closer to the Lord.

I pray and I worship God in truth and in spirit.

I read the word.

I fellowship with other believers.

I strive to live a life that’s pleasing unto him.

NOW.. what are some things you are doing to grow in your selected area of life?

If nothing, start leaping!

MOVE FORWARD.

Move past the negativity.

Move past the hurt.

Move past the pain.

Forgive and let go!

Move on and grow!

Walk towards who you want to be and walk away from who you don’t want to be.

Do what your heart desires.

Take steps towards growth in whatever area you feel you need to grow in.

Be a blessing and be pure at heart.

Be true to you!

Keep shining

And keep creating!
