TO MY LADIES
YOU ARE QUEENS!
TO MY MEN
YOU ARE KINGS!
Getting treated less is not an option and you shouldn’t ever accept it.
One thing I learned is that people will treat you how you treat yourself.
“If you’re not respecting yourself then how can you expect others to respect you?”
Just please sit and ponder on that question.
(I see A LOT of this happening on social media and in this world and it really bothers me because we, as people just need to do better.) We are supposed to love our neighbors the same way we love ourselves.
Love yourself. Care for yourself. Cherish yourself. Know your worth. Be a better version of yourself. Be honest with yourself. Speak wonderfully of yourself. (No it’s not cocky, I just believe in speaking life and not death and I also believe that there is power in our tongues so we must be very careful of how we speak about others and about ourselves.)
“From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:20-21 NIV
It all bottles down to YOU. No one can love you if you don’t love yourself. No one can respect you until you learn how to respect yourself. No one can care for you until you learn how to care for yourself.
Take care of yourself so others will then have an example on how to treat you.
I learned that self reflectory is very important and that we must reflect on our actions and the decisons we make daily!!
Something about me:
I used to be that young girl who was reckless and out of control (In private)-behind the scenes and let me just say one thing, just because you’re doing your mess “on the low, in private, or behind the scenes” doesn’t mean that you’re any different from the ones who aren’t trying to hide what they’re doing.
What’s in the dark, will come to light. If it be a friend/friendemy ratting you out or not, it will come to light. So just be honest with yourself first!
SOME THINGS I WANT YOU TO KNOW
- It’s your choice to change, so be accountable for your actions.
- You are capable of changing, nothing is impossible. It may be impossible to people, but not to God. (Matthew 19:26)
- If you want better, you must do better.
- Respect yourself!!! Self respect is pride and confidence in oneself; a feeling that one is behaving with honor and dignity.
- Know that you’re worth the change!
- Change is IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Growth is important.
- People only treat you how you allow them to treat you.
“Before doing anything reckless, out of control or demeaning, please think about the ones around you.” Terran Robinson
