The OMG List

Hey everyone,

It has been such a very long time since I uploaded a blog.

Did you all miss me?

The purpose of this blog is to give some insight on The OMG list that I created 5 years ago.

The other day I uploaded a post on my Facebook page to encourage those who were on the verge of losing hope and giving up. I basically encouraged everyone to keep pushing forward and to continue waiting patiently on their prayers to be answered.

Let me back up a little bit though.

So, the night before I uploaded the post I was on the verge of giving up hope myself. I know you are probably wondering why… Let me explain – My husband and I have been trying to have children since we got married. We both agreed to start trying for children now because the goal is to push out all of our kids before we are 30 years old. We do not want to be retired with babies running around the house in pampers. (Just our preference, no shade to those who wait) We will be 25 in a couple of months though. I am just going to let that sink in.

I was ready to give up the thought of us conceiving and having children. At that moment I was sick and tired of waiting, tired of trying, and tired of thinking that maybe this month would be the month that we find out we are pregnant. I cried super hard that night to God, and rested in His presence. I poured my heart out to Him and He of course comforted me by bringing the OMG List that I created in 2015 back to my remembrance. Seeing the list and how it all manifested in my life brought restoration to my soul immediately. The Lord is SO KIND!!! When we find ourselves at our lowest He makes it His business to uplift and sustain our spirits.

Below is the OMG List I created as well as the message I shared on my Facebook page.

I wrote this in my notes 5 years ago and God has shown himself faithful throughout the years.
1. I got married in 2019
2. I enlisted in the U.S Army in 2017
3. Moved into my own apartment in 2019 – then moved into my house with my hubby in 2020.
4. Still waiting on the baby.
I’m not making this post to receive any type of attention or anything of that sort, but to simply encourage those who are on the verge of giving up or losing hope. I found myself on the verge of giving up on something I wanted just last night, but the Lord again is so faithful and so kind that He brought this note I wrote 5 years ago back into my remembrance. Please do not give up – what you are asking God for will come to pass. Start preparing yourself for what you’re waiting for in your waiting season… The wait isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it and necessary ❤️
Sit back | Relax | Get through
✨Become that Good thing your future husband is looking for.
✨ Become that pursuing, persistent, and consistent husband your future wife is looking for. ✨Start fixing your credit
✨Enroll back in school, so you can obtain your degree.
✨Start eating healthy, getting your body fit and prepared for expansion.
✨Write the business plan & ETC!
I am still waiting on one of my OMG’s on this list to come to pass, but guess what? I’m going to keep pushing as I said I would 5 years ago and so should you.

God truly showed Himself faithful throughout the years. I may not have been able to say “OMG I am having a baby” yet, but I believe God, and I know He’s a God who keeps His promises.

After I uploaded the post there were several individuals who messaged me saying they were inspired to start their own OMG list. I was truly moved. Like wow God!!!!!

While I was in prayer yesterday, Holy spirit began to speak to me and told me that I needed to give more insight on my list. He specifically said, “Tell them that it wasn’t a walk in the park. Tell them how you had to work for what you were praying for – work meaning prepare and how you had to be vulnerable with the Lord and open minded with your process. Faith without works is dead.”

I need all of you to know that I didn’t just make that list and wait on the Lord. I had to prepare for what I was praying for. I went through 2 years of preparation before I received my first OMG which was my new job. (U.S. Army) Then I went through preparation to becoming the “good thing” my future husband was looking for. That came with healing from past romantic relationships as well as family and friend wounds – deliverance – learning how to cook – being a woman of virtue – knowing my worth – loving myself – being a woman after God’s heart – purity – change of perspective – and so much more. One thing I learned and was just reminded of is that

God WILL NOT bless you with something He knows you are not ready for.

There is a process to everything! We just have to learn how to embrace and endure the process.

If you are feeling led to start your OMG list, please keep in mind that faith without works is dead, and it is faith that led you to write the list, so you will also need faith to get you through your process. It is imperative that you do not lose hope and that you remain patient and faithful to your process.

When the seed is watered and fed consistently – the beautiful flower/plant blooms from it right? So as long as you are consistent in your preparation season, you will begin to see the things you wrote on your list manifest on Gods timing.

Thank you so much for reading my blog. Follow me on Facebook (Author Terran Z. Brodie) & tag me in your OMG lists. I would love to see it. #OMGList

I am touching and agreeing with you now. May the Lords favor shower down on you all like never before. Delight yourself in Him and He will grant you the desires of your heart. May your hearts be full of Him and less of this world. He cares for you and desires to see that beautiful smile on your face. God bless you and may everything that He leads your hand to write or type on your list come to pass. In Jesus name, Amen!

Love you all,
