A Writer's Heart

Hello my beautiful supporters,

I pray all is well with you. I just wanted to write this quick blog post to encourage, empower, and inspire you to START whatever it is you are desiring to start in your life and not to stop pursuing it until it is FINISHED.

On July 6, 2021 I uploaded a live video on Facebook encouraging those who follow my Author page (Author Terran Z. Brodie) to start it up again. Let me elaborate on what I mean by “it” for you. “It” can be many things: business, school, Facebook business page, job application, endeavors, dreams, walking in your calling, producing good in the earth – anything that brings joy to your soul that you stopped doing due to fear, insecurity, or lack of support – Start it up again!

I was in prayer early that morning on the 6th of July, and Holy Spirit told me that I needed to start working on my apparel business again. He showed me how I allowed my flesh (self) to talk me out of doing what He graced me for. It was not only myself getting in the way of producing what the Lord needed me to produce – it was fear of success, fear of the unknown, insecurity, and lack of support as well. I literally put a halt to EVERY desire, plan, and idea God had given me for my business. *DO NOT BE LIKE ME* lol. It was not until that morning after being encouraged by Holy Spirit Himself to start my business up that I had a desire for creating apparel again.

One thing Holy Spirit shared with me was that I am graced to start, endure, embrace, and complete everything that He has placed on my path to accomplish, and I leave you with the same encouragement.

YOU ARE GRACED TO DO E V E R Y T H I N G THAT THE LORD HAS PLACED IN YOUR HEART TO DO!

In 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV it says “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness….” In other words, the Lord’s grace is MORE than enough for you to do what He has called you to do. His strength is made perfect in your weakness, so there is absolutely no reason for you to quit pursuing, engaging or operating in the areas that He has called you to thrive in. YOU ARE GRACED and YOU WILL THRIVE IN THE AREAS THAT YOU ARE GRACED IN! (I receive that for myself)!!!!

So, I say all of that to say………

• Start that business you started working on back up again.

• Entertain the thought of being a business man/woman, entrepreneur, teacher, counselor, hair stylist, personal trainer, (whatever you desire to be) etc. again.

• Start rewriting the book you stopped writing

• Start sending words of encouragements to your family members again.

• Start planning events to reconnect, rekindle, and restore relationships in your family again.

• Start pursuing your degree again, and etc.

Whatever you stopped doing because of hardship, intimidation, opposition, lack of support, or troubles – START IT UP AGAIN because you are graced for it! Stop trying to operate out of your own strength, and give God access to establish your plans. “The heart of a man plans the way, but the Lord establishes His steps” Proverbs 16:9 ESV. Might I add, if you haven’t started pursuing what the Lord has placed on your heart to do – I challenge you to start seeking Him for instructions on how to start because this applies to you as well. YOU ARE GRACED TO START and YOU ARE GRACED TO FINISH!!

A little Nugget – Bit of Advice

When I started my apparel business I started with the wrong mindset. I started with a hustle mindset: figure it out as i go – instead of the business mindset: systems, order, and structure. I share that with you because it is imperative that when you launch something you launch it in excellence and with excellence. DO NOT launch it with a mindset that will only carry you to the door, and not give you access into the door. (you will catch that later) You want to ensure that you have all angles (systems in place) covered and secured for your big launch or it will become very overwhelming and discouraging for you. That is just something I learned on my journey.

I pray that those of you who needed this word of encouragement were able to receive it, and that you now have the courage to do what God has been calling you to do.

I also speak the finishers anointing over you. Everything that you start YOU will complete. In Jesus Name! Amen.

If you are bold enough I dare you to declare “I am GRACED for this.”
